On Thursday March 22nd starting at 5:30pm, Drinking For A Cause is helping throw an event at Belltown Pub in Seattle for Seattle Inner City Outings!

10% of all food and drinks you buy will go directly to this wonderful organization!  We'll even have a free trivia contest with multiple gifts to hand out that starts at 7pm!  You can't miss it!  Come out and enjoy the night with us!

-The Drinking For A Cause Board

We are less than 1 week away from the event that spawned the beginning of the For a Cause organization:  12 Bars of Christmas!  This event started 4 years ago in Lower Queen Anne, Seattle, WA to raise money for the Compass Center, a local nonprofit.  Since then, the event has grown every year, now donating proceeds to Dynamic Families, another local Seattle nonprofit. 

From that event, we learned that there was a love for drinking events that gave to charity.  These events happen all over Seattle - but they can often be hard to find or can be come across only by luck.  Our goal is to provide that single repository for those events.  Anyone can submit events to this website and we will do our best to help promote them.  Who can turn down free advertising? 

Additionally, we have grown beyond just hosting the 12 Bars of Christmas pub crawl every December and have started hosting a few events of our own at other bars.  Currently these happen about quarterly and we see lots of demands for growth in the future!  Keep an eye out for these.

Hello all!

It's been a while since we've posted, so we thought we'd give you a bit of news on our progress here at "Drinking For A Cause."  For starters, we have been hard at work trying to get our 501(c)(3) non-proft status for our parent organization, "For A Cause!"  Once we are able to achieve this, we can start to look into throwing our own events!  That's something very exciting to look forward to!

Additionally, there are a lot of requests to start our organization into states other than Washington.  We'd love to do this down the line, and if you're interested in helping out, drop us an email!  When we're ready to expand, we'd love to get you on board!

In exciting news, we just got our 200th fan on facebook!  We've donated $1 per person out of our own pockets to Treehouse, a non-profit working with foster kids in the King County area!  Thanks to all of you that joined, and we hope you'll be able to make some of the events we're helping to advertise!  If you'd like to join our group, click on the facebook link on the right sidebar!
